The key to this development was that the crane had to fold down under deck, saving valuable deck space. The hidden deck crane was designed for a load of 350 kg at a distance of 2.4 m. A further demand to the design was that there would be a minimum of technical components sticking out which would disturb the aesthetic image of the crane. The crane was finished in a high gloss coating quality Yachting quality coating. The result is a deck crane that is full stainless steel 316 and thus can resist even the the saltiest sea conditions. The crane is equipped with a wireless remote. EWAC took care of the design, finite element calculations, hydraulic design, electrical design of the product, and the production and assembly of the parts.
